How to use VPN (for Windows and macOS)

You will be able to connect to CSUMB lab computers after downloading and installing GlobalProtect VPN software

Windows users

2. Download GlobalProtect VPN

Download Windows 64 bit GlobalProtect agent

After the installation, open GlobalProtect VPN and type the following when prompted: vpn.csumb.edu

3. Connect to CSUMB lab computers

You will choose “506-117 (Computing and Design)” under “Computer Labs” at the link below:

When you enter your credentials, you will use the following format: csumb\otte123 (Check 1:45). Please note that this is NOT a slash (/); this is a backslash (\)

macOS users

After the installation, open GlobalProtect VPN and type the following when prompted: vpn.csumb.edu

MAC USERS: If GlobalProtect stays on the Connecting screen and does not prompt for your CSUMB username and Password showing "connecting", then, open System Preferences, navigate to Security & Privacy and then General. See the photo below and hit allow (you may need to click the lock at the bottom to unlock)
